IOP Grades

Iron Ore Palletization (IOP) grade Bentonite is predominantly montmorillonite and fine ground powder with a high content of natural sodium treated with sodium carbonate as an efficient binding agent for the production of iron pallets at higher temperature. It has very good water retention and very good wet & dry binding strength.

• Fine powder helps in the formation of pallets.
• Excellent water uptake ad retention.
• Generate good bonding between iron ore and water.
• Generate excellent green and dry wall strength at lower addition.
• Good bonding strength retains before and after firing of pallets.

• Mixing ration is based on the ore quality and fineness. Water quality, ore fineness will affect.
